Why is Mark Grace and others upset over All-Stars like Jeter who did not appear for the All Star Game?

The All-Star Game is a joke. Jeter relaxed with family and friends and I support that. Those "fans" in Arizona were low class for what they did to Prince Fielder and his family. Jeter and those who did not appear did the right thing. Health comes first. Mariano, Jeter, A-Rod are going to the Hall of Fame. He actually was healthy at the time and was just "Physically and Mentally exhausted" He should have at least still showed up for the fans and would have had only 2 at bats then he would have been done. A-Rod I understand because he just had surgery.



Jose Reyes showed up.

Shane Victorino showed up.

Aaron Crow was sick and showed up.



I didn't know Reyes was gonna go and he went.



Willie Mays said the past week; "I was chosen to the All-Star Game 24 times and I showed up 24 times." He also said that they should still go for the fans.



I do agree however that the Arizona fans had no class for treating Prince Fielder that way. Those fans were immature and dumb and should be ashamed of themselves. But I do still believe Jeter and Rivera should have still showed up to the ASG. A lot of pitchers who weren't gonna pitch still showed up.



All in all, Jeter should have still showed up because he was barely injured. Neither showed up. I will give a pass to Jeter and A-Rod, even though Victorino and Reyes both showed injured. it doesn't take a friken genus to figure out why everyone is mad at him for wimping out. the all-star game is supposed to be about the fans. they voted him in even tho he hasn't had that great of year. all he had to do was show up and let the fans know he appreciated them. you can't get mad at the fans in general, people are stupid, you can't say the "fans" had no class because of what happns to Fielder, why would u generalize that to the whole fan-base? it really is not worth bringing up that little incident to compare it to what idiot jeter wimped out on. what an idiot. just because a few people are stupid does not mean that 40k are.



Also, Jeter got paid his 100k for not showing up to the game, at least donate that to charity or something.



and how the heck are you going to say that they are going to the hall of fame and then say they did the right thing by not appearing to tip their cap? what an idiot. how is that the right thing? that is why nobody likes the yankees, no freakin class at all. man, got to be the most stupid question ever on here. people really piss me off with their lack of common sense.
