How do you find a specific star in the sky?

I had a star named after me when i was little and i was wondering if there was a way to find that star. I know its coordinates, if that helps.How do you find a specific star in the sky?Get a telescope and point it at the co-ordinates.



However from my experience of these charlatans the star will be so tiny that it will need a HUGE telescope to see it.

secondly, you can find the star by simply turning the telescope into it because you have said that you know the coordinates but if you don't know the coordinates of whic it refers to, you can look at the book of astronomical measurements.How do you find a specific star in the sky?
