How can I remove the metal rings from my five star binder?

you know those really big three ring binders that kids use to carry all their books and such. They are five star brand and they have fabric on the outside. I want to remove the rings to fit more things in it. How can I remove the metal rings from my five star binder?I know this questions already got a best answer, but you could always try melting the mtal rings with a match or lighter and wait for the metal to become soft, then use a knife or something to get rid of some of the metal, you can then just take it out. you could use hedge cutters too? but get an...
