How do you activate star power on Guitar Hero World Tour Wii?

People have said that you lift the guitar?? I am not sure what that means. Also what does star power actually do? Is there a button to hit to activate it? Sorry I am new to guitar hero.

With my guitar, I find that I have to tilt the guitar slightly forward so the top of the guitar is pointing towards the TV more.

what star power does, if you are stuck on a song because of a hard part, you can activate star power ( if you have it ) and it will be harder to fail...

When tilting your guitar, you must be sure it's 100% vertical, not diagonal. This can be a serious pain especially if you're in the middle of a solo so if I were you I would try that select button as that would be easier to tap in my opinion. I wish I could tell you for sure what to do, but I played the GH's on ps2 and don't have any knowledge on the wii version, but that'd be great if it worked! you can lift up the guitar by pointing it vertically. there is also a button right next to the strum bar that you can use to activate starpower. starpower increases your score. if your on red and you have starpower, use it to gain the crowd back and get to green.How do you activate star power on Guitar Hero World Tour Wii?Some of the guitars have a button below the switch thing.
