Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?

I keep seeing Chicks and Bros with nautical star tattoos are they supose to be rockstars or something?Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?Lol. I actually have 2 nautical stars, but i got them before it was "cool," and i have liked the way they looked ever since I was a kid. I think it is because most people just want a "cool" tattoo, so they pick a piece of flash (htose posters on the walls). Stars DO look pretty neat, and everybody knows what they are, so they just get them. I think a lot of these tattoos are spur-of-the-moment things.Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?
i'm thinking about getting nautical star tattoos, but not because the look "cool" i'm getting them to represent northern and southern california (nautical stars are associated with it). i have lived in both areas so it represent where i've come from. it all depends

Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?Actually my nautical stars are awesome... they represent my grandmother. She was way into the nautical theme, so as a memory to her I got the stars. I've gotten the right one colored in and it looks really trippy with the colors and whispy it has to it. And the left arm is going to have something just as kewl... just have to design it.



And yes... I love rock music... and I work with rockers (promo person), but I'm no way near a rockstar... lolWhy do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?
iIt got all started mostly in the navy by sailor jerry. Back then the sailors navigated not with compasses but with stars and they depended on them find thier ways back home. Many military people get a nautical star as a symbol for finding ones path home safely. But every person has thier own meanings for them... personally i got two of them on my wrist and yes i was in the army!Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?some people just get tattoos for the sake of having them and don't put any thought inot what they get- others do it cause it is the style but a really dumb method- eventually the style will change and the tattoos won't its like a permanent mullet- not that mullets aren't awsome
No its because they are so obsessed with the "cool factor" that goes along with people that have tattoos that they dont think about what they are going to get, they just go to the parlor and pick out the first thing that theyve seen on someone "cool".... idiots...(including my husband..lol)Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?

Honestly, whatever. They look fantastic on some people, and I have liked the design since childhood as well. I've also seen some people who do pretty unique designs with them. So sad that the trendy majority has managed to ruin one very cool idea for a small tattoo. Sigh.Why do I see so many people with nautical star tattoos?
Yeah, the chicks and bros are all rock stars if they have a nautical star tattoo.
