What is the earliest Star Wars novel(not including comics) time wise?

I have been searching and trying to find what is the earliest novel in Star Wars time "BBY" called? The Lost Tribe of the Sith series takes place 5000 BBY this is the earliest I can find. Is there earlier ones? And any where there is a chronological timeline of Star Wars books? What is the earliest Star Wars novel(not including comics) time wise? Here's a link to the chronological timeline of Star Wars books from the official publisher of SW books ... Del Rey books:

The Lost Tribe of the Sith series is the "earliest" in the time line but they are NOT novels. They are "eBook novellas" ... basically short little eBooks ... 10 pages or so. You can also get all of them for free at starwars.com These novellas are just short set up stories that establish the beginning of a story arc that will finish up in the "Fate Of The Jedi" story arc. The thing that is most ironic in this is that while the Lost Tribe of the Sith series is set 5000 years before the events of the movies it will finish up in a story that is set 43 years after the events of the movies.

May The Force Be With You ...

EDIT:

Good "get" by "El Jefe" in regards to the Lost Tribe of the Sith being scheduled for release ... I missed that one because I honestly wasn't looking for it. I thought that after they started making them available at sw.com that the "issue" was settled ... my bad on that one.

A few words of "caution" about the "wiki" time line link given by "LordDuro" in his answer. This is a VERY in depth time line that covers pretty much everything in the SW EU and that is it's problem ... it is too in depth for a "newbie". It also has the disadvantage of having at least a third of the titles listed on it being books that were never written let alone published. They were story ideas but in the end they were scraped. Aside from that this is a freaking great time line. I've been reading the SW books since 90 and even I get lost in it sometimes.

.What is the earliest Star Wars novel(not including comics) time wise?Just to add clarification to Jedi Dude's comment (which is essentially correct), the Lost Tribe of the Sith novella's (currently only available in e-format) will be released as a published collection later this year, which would at that point truly make them the earliest novel (timeline wise) in the Star Wars-verse.What is the earliest Star Wars novel(not including comics) time wise?Lost Tribe of the Sith are technically e-books, and the earliest Star Wars novel at the moment is "Deceived" by Paul Kemp.

Here's that list:

Hope it helps!
