DOes any remote for a star choice reciever work on other receivers?

I am looking at buying another star choice reciever. I already currently have one but am looking to add another tv on to the service. But the reciever i am looking at the seller can't find the remote.Will another starchoice remote work on it?DOes any remote for a star choice reciever work on other receivers?Unless it's the same or close to the same model and year, probably not. Contact the mfg. (star choice?) for details before you buy it. You could even have problems with a universal remote.
