How do you land a job at a very expensive five-star restaurant?

Can someone give me a plan on how to land a job at a world-class restaurant with a super expensive menu, when I'm starting out with no experience at all in being waitress. If you are attractive and smart, you should be able to to get some 2, 3 and 4 star experience under your belt pretty quickly (the attractive part matters much more at 2 and 3 star places than at 5 star places; 5 star places mostly use older, highly expereinced gentlemen). Give it a year to work up to a 4 star, with a few months at each place. Once you are established at a 4 star, keep you eye open for opportunities at 5 stars; you could wait several years before there is an opening in any particlualr 5 star restaurant.

You basically just have to be thin and look good. The servers are really the "face of the brand" so they're looking for well-groomed, attractive people.



Other than that, they have weird rules at expensive restaurants, like don't take away a man's plate if his woman is still eating, etc. You have to be quiet, well-mannered and speak intelligently.How do you land a job at a very expensive five-star restaurant?You can't anytime soon.
