What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?

I was in Tanzania last year from september to december and the whole time I was there I could see it every night. Anyone knows which star/planet it could be?What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?What you describe is impossible. The Moon moves about 12掳 across the sky every 24 hours, so any object it is close to one night will be quite far away the next. You can't describe stars' or planets' positions in terms of the Moon, unless you specify a particular night. What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?
Well, ..., I assumed Dar es Salaam as your local vicinity. Based on the time you specified and the specifics of being close to the moon over the months of Sept - Dec. I believe you were looking at the planet Jupiter. Jupiter low in the western horizon in late December, so I'm sure this is what you saw. What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?The moon orbits the Earth, so it is not possible for the moon to be near the same star or planet each night. The moon is in a different part of the sky everyday. Sometimes it is not even above the horizon at night. What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?
You were likely seeing jupiter. What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?The object was probably Jupiter. However, it would only be close to the Moon on one or two nights per month. What is the really bright star/planet right next to the moon that we can see in the Tanzanian night-sky?
