Stars cannot fall to the earth, the earth "falls" to stars. Stars are so much more massive than the earth, and if anything like that were to happen, everything on earth would be wiped out. We would all be incinerated. The heat of star will literally disintegrate the whole earth. What would happen if a star fell to earth? As stars go, our sun is a very small one. Nevertheless, it's something like 1,000,000 times the size of the earth. I'd imagine that if there was any "falling" to do, it would be the other way around. Contrast the size of our sun with the size of a red super-giant like Betelgeuse. Betelgeuse is larger than our whole solar system! Imagine the orbit of Pluto, converted into a sphere. Betelgeuse is substantially larger than that--AND there are stars that are WAY BIGGER. Here's a series of great videos about stars and lots of other cool stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCIyBxPBJ鈥?/a>
Enjoy! What would happen if a star fell to earth?
We'd all die. Stars are suns. Our sun's not that big. If a white dwarf (the smallest form of sun) hit Earth, it'd burn us all even before it hit. If a red giant hit us (the biggest sun) we'd still die.
Movies are stupid. What would happen if a star fell to earth? The Star would never actually hit the Earth, the Earth would be destroyed long before the star hit. What would happen if a star fell to earth?
A star is much larger than earth and would consume and destroy the planet if it got too close. What would happen if a star fell to earth?
No idea
we would all die
