I've been reading a lot of the Star Wars Novels, recently. I started with the "Thrawn-C'baoth Trilogy," went as Far as Visions of the Future, and jumped back with the Hutt Gambit. When I was reading the Jedi Academy Triolgy, I was surprised to learn Luke had served Palpatine's Clone, going to the Dark Side (for one book?)
What I want to know is what is the name of the book(s)? I skim through the backs of those that tell about other books, but have been unable to find anything about this. Luke turned to the dark side when the reborn (Cloned, I believe) Emperor appeared. Luke went over to the dark side believing he'd be able to come back after he used that position to defeat the new Palpatine, however he was wrong. It was through the love of Leia that he was brought back to the light and defeated the reborn Emperor. This all took place in a 1991-1992 series of Dark Horse comics, called "Star Wars: Dark Empire". Dark Empire by Dark horse Comics. It's not a very solid story, but it is recognized as canon.
