I know what a ridiculous question this is, but I've been writing songs for a long time (for fun) but now I'm trying to get down to business. I'm working on a couple songs that I want to record on a CD and maybe send it around (when I'm a bit older) but how can I get to be a big star. I've been playing guitar for 6 years and I'm pretty good at it and I can sing.

its a lot of work, even when you get a record deal you dont become as big as beyonce or christina aguilera when your song comes out,

i just wanna say that american idol isnt as big either.dont dependent on those showsbc the artists who have recently won dont sell that much. they are talented yes,but they are forgotten about right after.

the only stars off american idol that are still around are kelly clarkson, carrie underwood
