Can you get the azura star without doing the main quest Iin oblivion?

I'm trying to get the azura star so I can enchant some stuff but I don't want to do the main quest to get it. Is there a way I can get it without sound the main quest? Can you get the azura star without doing the main quest Iin oblivion? To get Azura's Star, you don't need to complete the main quest. What you need to do is complete Azura's Daedric Quest.

First off, you have to be at least a Level 2 before you can begin this quest. Once you've met that requirement, find Azura's Shrine located far north of Cheydinhal, north and slightly east of Lake Arrius Caverns, and high up in the Jerall Mountains. The shrine can be accessed using an unmarked road.

The location of this shrine can be marked on your map by any of several methods:

1) Reading the book Modern Heretics,

2) Speaking to Trayvond the Redguard in the Cheydinhal Mages Guild about "Daedric cults",

3) Speaking to Ulene Hlervu of Castle Cheydinhal about "Cheydinhal" followed by speaking to her about "Daedric shrines", or

4) Speaking to Borba gra-Uzgash at Borba's Goods and Stores about "Daedric shrines" after having spoken to Ulene Hlervu about "Cheydinhal".

Once you've found the shrine, talk with the Dark Elf named Mels Maryon and tell him that you would like to speak with the "Queen of the Dawn and the Dusk" herself. He will tell you that you must bring an offering of Glow Dust at either dawn (5:00am - 7:00am) or dusk (5:00pm - 7:00pm) if you would like to summon the Lady. Such an offering can be obtained from Will-o-the-Wisp creatures, though it won't be easy finding one in a standard dungeon unless you're the perfect level for the game's creature spawning system. Your best bet is to visit the Bruma Mages Guild and swipe the one lying on a table in the guild cellar.

When you have the Glow Dust, approach the altar during the designated time and present the offering to Azura. Azura will speak to you, and give you her quest.

Note: During the "Blood of the Daedra" quest (for the main quest), Martin will ask you to give one of your Daedric artifacts to him. You can give any artifact you wish, but I recommend you keep Azura's Star for yourself, because it's more useful than many of the other artifacts you obtain. Can you get the azura star without doing the main quest Iin oblivion? All you have to give him is any Daedric Quest artifact, like Umbra, Goldbrand or Spellbreaker Shield.

so you don't exactly need to give him azura's star

With my characters, especially at low levels, I grab anything I can sell to build up more cash for purchasing houses or minor spells, and especially for repairing magical items, until my Armorer skill is high enough. That's why if I only have Umbra for a weapon and Azura's Star as my only Soul Gem, I don't need anything else. They have the perfect "symbiotic" relationship. Plus, the Mask of Clavicus Vile really doesn't do much to help with the "good" stats.
